Centereach, NY: The LIUSBC is pleased to announce its 2019-20 tournament schedule for both adult and youth bowlers. A total of 24 events are planned; 18 adult and 6 youth tournaments. All 24 events will have money or scholarships added to the prize fund. A total of $25,000 has been earmarked for tournaments this upcoming season.
The LIUSBC tournament schedule will visit almost every bowling center on Long Island. A total of 20 local centers will host LIUSBC tournaments giving both Nassau and Suffolk bowlers the opportunity to compete in events close to their home. A variety of formats and entry fees will be offered with the goal of attracting both serious and non-serious bowlers.
For the first time in LIUSBC history bowlers now have a complete event schedule so they can plan their year. Flyers for all 24 events are now available for download on www.LIUSBC.com and you can also enter the tournaments on-line. It’s going to be a banner year for LIUSBC members that like to bowl tournaments.
New to the LIUSBC tournament schedule is a senior/super senior match play tournament, a drop your low game event, a daytime senior fun tournament, a no-tap holiday tournament, a classified handicap eliminator, a trios team tournament, “A Prefect Tournament,” a pro shop invitational and a special Senior Appreciation day. Returning to the schedule is the Masters, Senior Masters, 700 Club event, senior handicap singles, a doubles event and the annual team championships.
One of the responsibilities of the LIUSBC is to offer the members tournament competition. The LIUSBC schedule of events is probably the best in the country. Whether you are a scratch bowler, handicap bowler, or just looking for a fun event, the LIUSBC tournament schedule has a tournament for you. We hope to see you at an event this season.
