Covid-19 Updates2020-04-17T00:50:38-04:00

The Long Island United States Bowling Congress (LIUSBC) has postponed or suspended all scheduled events, meetings and tournaments due to concerns about COVID-19. Additionally, until further notice, the LIUSBC office will remain closed until New York State permits us to re-open.

LIUSBC recommends league officers and bowling centers be proactive in considering the well-being of their bowlers. Any change in a league schedule, including continuing or canceling, requires only a majority vote cast by the league board of directors (officers and team captains.) Prior to a league voting the future of their schedule, the league must come to an agreement with bowling center management concerning the league contract. Verbal or written, the league has a contract.

USBC has developed a Frequently Asked Questions guide to assist leagues and tournaments with rules and procedures related to postponing or canceling events (see below).

LIUSBC staff is available to answer any specific questions or concerns. Please call our office (631.737.0825) if you need assistance.
