Mineola, NY: The LIUSBC recently presented a 300 ring to Philip Grimes from Woodside, NY at Bowlero Mineola (formerly Sheridan Lanes). What makes this presentation so special is Phil, who is 76 years old, bowled his first 300 game after competing in leagues for over 40 years and was a pin boy in his early years. Congratulations Phil on your perfection!
Phil, who averages 178, was presented his ring by LIUSBC Association Manager Karl Nystrom at his Senior Hopefuls league at Bowlero Mineola. His perfection came on March 11, 2020 in his first game, followed by scores of 214 and 191 for a 705 series. Phil used a Storm IQ Solid, drilled by Jim Lizzo, owner of Bowlers Touch Pro Shop at Bowlero Mineola.
